This 18” x 24” open-edition Archival Pigment Print print titled “Sky Guides” is a fine art print made from an original mixed media work of art.
The inks that are used in the Archival Pigment Print process have extremely vivid colors, high light-fastness and stability, and are also more scratch-resistant than other types of prints. These museum-grade prints are archival and are meant to last at least a century or more, under the right conditions.
Printed on Moab 100% cotton rag heavy-weight archival fine art paper with archival ink, these UNFRAMED 11×14” prints have a white border around the image. The “deckled” edge of the paper is meant to be part of the art and is intended to be exposed when framing. The ideal method of framing of these works is by “raising” or mounting the image on a piece of mat board and then floating this over a white background. Either a linen background or a textured white paper background is ideal.
Each print is signed, titled, and dated by the artist in pencil. Your print comes with a heavy archival matboard backing, an acid-free crystal clear protective sleeve, and is securely packaged flat in a box. Our prints are never rolled. **Your artwork comes to you UNFRAMED (the frames in the listing photo are for mock-up purposes only).
***This print is from a series of works titled “Story Paintings” that was originally shown at the Lloyd Kiva New Gallery at the Museum of Contemporary Native Art in Santa Fe, NM. This body of work was inspired by the Cherokee creation myth and the artist is an enrolled citizen of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma.
